The Lahti Last Mile project examines the current state of last mile freight transportation in the city of Lahti. The project maps therelated challenges and looks for alternatives to solve them. The Lahti Last Mile project promotes the identification of environmental impacts related to last-mile distribution and the problems caused for residents. The project creates the basis for a new operating model, in which the complex entity related to optimizing distribution and reducing emissions is outlined in a network of different operators.
